Q: Toyota Tundra?
I own a Toyota Tundra and it runs great, but when I turn on the A/C and Im driving around and I come to a stop,it kills sometimes. Why? And what can I do to fix this?
A: I had to respond to the punk about the Titan is better.
My office building is located in a urban area and I drive through a slummy area, I see lots of Titans because Nissan markets towards people who consider themselves Urban and to youth. The Titan is very cheap in around my area so that helps young “ballerz” pick one up to make them feel better about their manhood. But yet, I have seen plenty of them with their hoods up on the side of the road, for no reason? or for a reason of engineering? hmm….. How many Toy’s that are only a year old do you see parked and getting constantly worked on?
Also why would you buy a Nissan when they have the lamest lawsuit going on?
read more of their lawsuit and how they really feel about their loyal customers.

Q: toyota Tundra?
Are toyota tundra offered in australia yet and where i want one
A: good question, no idea….might want to check toyota website.
Q: Is a 2006 Toyota tundra a good vehicle to buy?
I bought a 2006 toyota tundra recently. Is this a reliable vehicle?
A: I’ve sold Tundras and Silverados. Your truck is the last year of that body style and absolutely has the bugs worked out. It doesn’t have the best turning radius but other than that and looking different, it’s a winner. Check out a Consumer Reports or Edmunds online. The proof is in the pudding. These Tundras have less problems than all other makes. As far as towing and payload capacity, they aren’t the clear winners, but to answer your question about reliability, it takes the gold.
Q: How do you replace the headlight assembly on a 2000 toyota tundra?
I have a 2000 toyota tundra SR5 v8. I want to replce the fogged headlights that are on there now with new ones. How do you replce the entire assembly? I have removed all screws and connections with exception of one, and I have no idea how to get to it. Can someone give me step by step directions please?
I have searched all over the net and can’t find anything
A: I would recommend checking a manual for your vehicle. You can usually buy a Haynes Manual from most auto parts stores for around $20 or order a Chiltons Manual for around $50, with the Chiltons manual being a lot more detailed.
Many libraries will also carry a manual, so you may be able to check one out without having to buy one.
Q: How do you replace a rear axle bearing on a 2002 Toyota Tundra?
On my 2002 Toyota Tundra, the left rear axle seal is leaking and I need to know if I have to replace the bearing because of the leaking. It doesn’t have ABS. Also, is the o-ring and the seal all I have to replace (except possibly the bearing)? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
A: Don’t know toyota axles, but the seal & the bearing is usual. Also, check the rear brake pads, could be oil soaked. If they were soaked, don’t save them – get new….
Q: How much would a 2007 Toyota Tundra cost a month?
I’m almost 18 and I’m server at a restaurant, my mother said she would be my co-signer so i’m set on that but i was wondering how much a 2007 Toyota Tundra would cost me if i started monthly payments at 18 years old. (crew cab of course) i’m planning on lifting the sucker as well
A: Too many variables. Go to kbb.com and see what they retail for in your area. determine the amount you can put down and then figure that since you are 18, and haven’t much credit history, that you will have a low FICO score (credit rating) even with a co-signer. That means a higher interest rate – perhaps 9% or more. There are lots of on-line payment calculators.
Do not – repeat, DO NOT – max yourself out on the purchase price. You will have insurance issues – over $100 a month, maybe more if you get a bank loan and they require full coverage. Then there is gas and maintenance to consider. So, make a budget to see what you can afford. You may want to think of an older model for now so you can save up a bit towards a nice truck later. The Tundra gets only fair mileage so make a generous gas budget unless you have friends who readily are known to chip in for gas. Good luck.
Q: How can i make my 2007 toyota tundra sound louder?
I have a 2007 toyota tundra and i was trying to figure out how other trucks sound so “mean”. i have everything stock as in performance wise and i was told to get an exhaust tip to get that rumble sound and sound more like the mean truck it is. but then reading some other post people say exhaust tips dont make it any louder. any recommendations?

Q: How can I remove my stereo on my 2001 toyota tundra?
I have a toyota tundra 2001 and I need to remove the stereo but the’re hidden screws or claps that I need to know so I wont brake my dash trying to take out my stereo.
A: The screws are kind of hidden, they are inside the heat vents towards the top, if you point the vents up all the way you will be able to see them, then all you need to do is remove the knobs for the climate control, and there will be screws located there. After that just pry the cover off(gently). The radio is held in with another 4 screws.
Q: My Toyota Tundra overheats but there does not appear to be a leak. What could be the problem?
I recently started having this overheating problem with my Toyota Tundra. There is a lot of steam and air when I try to put water in. It also to boils over. It usually takes several minutes before it finally settles down and accepts water. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
A: Have you checked to make sure that a hose hasn’t collapsed. Sometimes when hoses get old they get weak and when the system is under pressure and heat they collapse. That would be where I start. If your hoses are fine then I would replace the thermostat, then go on to the water pump the impeller on the pump may be worn and not pumping the full amount. You could have a plug in the radiator or heat core as well.
Q: What kind of battery should I get for my 2001 toyota tundra?
I have a 2001 toyota tundra with the 4.7 V8 I’m just wondering what is the right size & brand of battery I should get?
Thanks!
A: If I am not mistaken it is a 585 CCA batt.
Depending if you have the cold package or not.
Make sure you get the proper batt or it will not fit in and hold down.
The Toyota replacement batt has a 86 month warranty and is compatible in price, I would recomend that.
Q: What is the average cost to fix the timing belt on a Toyota Tundra?
I got a 2001 V8 Toyota Tundra that needs to have a time belt replaced. What is the average cost to get that fixed.

A: parts alone are not that cheap for that model im guessing in the 400 to 600 range
Q: What is the exterior square footage of an ‘06 Toyota Tundra?
I’m trying to do vinyl wrap on an ‘06 Toyota Tundra and can’t find the sqft of the exterior. Any help would be great!
A: Just a guess around 200 .
It should be measured to be on the safe side.
Q: Is there supost to be a transmision dipstick on a 2006 toyota tundra with a 4.7v8 engine?
I’m missing my transmissionsn dipstick on my 2006 toyota tundra v8 4.7whichh I just bout a short timeago, and I wanted to check my transmision fluid and I noticed that I had no Dip stick to check it. I was woundering if it had one and should have someone look at it.
A: On that particular vehicle there is no dipstick. There is a fill plug and an overflow plug on the transmission itself. To fill the transmission, you must use the Toyota manufacturer’s automatic transmission fluid and have the vehicle on a flat, level surface. Remove the overflow plug and place a drain pan under it to catch any excess that runs out. Remove the fill plug, and fill the transmission with approved fluid until it begins to run out of the overflow hole. Wait until the excess has finished draining out, then reinstall the overflow and fill plugs and you’re all set.
